Chemical Cleaning of Piping

Chemical cleaning is typically used to remove deposits like scale, corrosion, waxes, paraffin and asphalting sediments in piping systems and may be required when pigging methods are unsuitable or insufficient. Chemical cleaning is also widely used for commissioning and decommissioning of piping systems to increase productivity and efficiency and to maintain the quality of the product. Chemical Cleaning of Hydrocarbon Storage Tanks

Tank cleaning is the process of removing hydrocarbon vapors, liquids or residues. Tank cleaning may be required for one or more of the following reasons:

  • To preserve quality of chemical product.
  • To perform internal inspections and repairs.
  • To change the service of storage tank

Ultrasonic Inspection

Ultrasonic testing (UT) is a non-destructive test method that utilizes sound waves to detect cracks and defects in parts and materials. It can also be used to determine a material's thickness, such as measuring the wall thickness of a pipe. UT inspection can be used to detect defects in a piping system or within the weld joints.

Valve Maintenance and Operational Test

Decommissioning

De-commissioning operation is usually utilized when a piping system needs to be freed from the product in order to be ready for either product change or being preserved for a period of time. This operation usually consists of cleaning and draining steps.
